Julie Treacy was born and raised in Oakland, California. She obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of California, Santa Cruz. Julie relocated to Florida in 2007 to attend law school at Nova Southeastern University, where she obtained her Juris Doctor. During law school, Julie served as a Florida Bar Fellow at Legal Aid Service of Broward County where she worked in the Children’s Advocacy, Education and Immigration Units.
Since law school, Julie has been employed in a variety of traditional and non-traditional roles as an Attorney and Entrepreneur, gaining valuable experience in business administration, civil litigation, family law, real estate, bankruptcy and probate.
Julie is actively involved in the Martin County Bar Association, Martin County Women Lawyers Association, Martin County Young Professionals, and the Treasure Coast Builders Association.
Julie became involved with Madison’s Miracles after meeting Christina at a local networking event. As a mother of three, Julie was moved by Christina’s story and the stories of all the other angel families and felt compelled to get involved almost immediately. She is proud to sit on the board of the organization and looks forward to continuing her support of Madison’s Miracles in the future.
Julie currently resides in Palm City with her three children – twin boys, 5, and daughter, 7, who drive her to be a better mother, lawyer, friend, daughter and member of the community on a daily basis.
